Freelancing has been fine, but I would be open…

As an Aussie I'm impressed that username g'day is used by some from the Netherlands and not here. Unless you're an Aussie living in the Netherlands...

Haha, nope, not an Aussie. I actually do get that question every now and then when people see my Github! I didn’t think that through 10 years ago when I created it and now I am kind of stuck to it, lol. It can be a great icebreaker though when meeting new people!

Hi HN!

I'm Grant. I've been engineering for a little over 3 years now and I've built some things that I've been proud of and had a lot of fun along the way. My last role was as a Platform Support Engineer at Rutter, an eCommerce and fintech API company, where I would debug customer issues from end to end. Before that, I owned a small business that supplied guitar builders with materials, but I sold the company to focus on programming. Aside from coding, I'm into cycling (MTB, road, gravel, CX), playing guitar, craft beer, record collecting, and home coffee roasting. I'm generally a social person that works well with others, and I love learning and sharing my knowledge and I'm excited to find my next team!

Hey folks, I'm looking for Backend/Full Stack engineering roles. I'm especially good with deep-diving into unfamiliar code bases, and working with backend side of things with Golang/Python.

I am also open to release/platform engineering roles, but that'd be a first for me.

I can work remotely matching GMT+0 to GMT+8 timezones.

Hello HN, I am a Computer Science Graduate student at Indiana University and have more than five years of experience as a Software Engineer. I have developed several large distributed systems with Typescript, Node.js, Python, HTTP(S), and different database technologies. I am looking for an opportunity where I can learn and contribute simultaneously. Feel free to have a look at my GitHub profile: https://github.com/sbmthakur/

PS: I am also looking for volunteer opportunities this summer and would welcome any leads or suggestions. Please feel free to contact me if you have information on any such opportunity.
