Nexvia is a modern real estate agency. I bet you were not expecting to read this on Hacker News ;-)

We are an hybrid company, with an old fashion business and revenue stream that enables us to be self funded and make our own choices. At the same time, we are using software to enhance our users', customers' and advisers' experience. We view technology as a way to empower people and try to deploy it in that direction.

Part of our business is also to sell market monitoring software to banks.

All our software has been and is being built internally. We are small so we pick our battles.

We work with PHP Laravel and React for the core of our web applications. We also use Python (for infrastructure management, build tools, data processing and secondary applications) and AWS.

Mind is a small consulting company specializing in open source software for embedded systems. Work with our customers for designing, implementing and debugging software for embedded systems. We are looking for both Junior and Senior profiles. Projects typically include some of the following:

- Porting Linux to new platforms based on typical embedded processors (ARM, MIPS, x86, etc…).

- Configuring networking protocol stacks, optimizing data throughput, securing access, etc…

- Setting-up multimedia frameworks, optimizing audio/video performance, etc…

- Debugging complex real-time issues, Implementing remote upgrade mechanisms, etc…

- Making system level architecture studies (SW architecture definition, choice of OS, HW/SW trade-offs, etc...).

Requirements:

* Proven ability to take a brief idea from a customer to a designed, shipped and tested feature that wows, and even goes beyond the brief

* Ability to see the big picture when building a feature (e.g. how it can be made modular or flexible to accommodate changes in future, or where else could it be deployed in the Carebit application)

* A keen eye for UI and UX, colour, simplicity and hierarchy in design

* 3+ years of Ruby on Rails

* 3+ years of React
