Reality Labs (FRL, part of Meta) is seeking a Software Engineer to help us unleash human potential by eliminating the bottlenecks between intent and action. To achieve this, we’re building a practical neural interface drawing on the rich motor neuron signals that can be measured non-invasively. Our research lies at the intersection of computational neuroscience, machine learning, signal processing, statistics, biophysics, motor learning, perceptual psychophysics, 3D interfaces, AR/VR and human-computer interaction. We’re looking for people who want to shape the future of this technology and are excited about joining our collaborative research team that has grown out of the acquisition of CTRL-labs.

In this role, you will drive cutting edge research and development for our EMG machine learning platform; create new experiments and models that unlock the capabilities of our technology; productionize our research results, and work with scientists, software engineers, hardware engineers and designers to advance the company’s science and AR/VR agenda. To do so, you will need strong problem solving abilities, excellent communication skills, extensive programming experience, and a passion for efficient tools and systems.

Note: We are hiring for multiple positions for Software Engineers, Senior Software Engineers, Technical Leads, etc, due to a massive expansion in our business.

A Senior Software Engineer on the Aledade App team is primarily responsible for expanding, improving, and maintaining our existing web application. We’re looking for our engineers to be self-starting, and proactive; they are expected to serve as a trusted resource on the business logic in place as well as our system architecture.
