Read more about us from our TechCrunch announcement: https://techcrunch.com/2020/10/21/acapela/

We are an ambitious and senior product team led by two second-time founders. Every engineer does both product and engineering work. Check out our open roles: https://acapela.notion.site/Join-Acapela-1bdde65e49eb43db81d...

Some buzzwords from our tech-stack: Typescript, Mobx, Hasura, Prisma, indexedDB. We built a custom client-side DB for maximum performance and fastest response time to offer the best-possible user experience. There are plenty on interesting performance and UI challenges involving both bytes and pixels :)

Hey HN, we're IncludeSec. We've done thousands of assessmnts for hundreds of clients and are well on our way to replacing all of the legacy lower-quality junior heavy appsec consulting teams doing work in Silicon valley and the rest of the US tech sector...and we're continuing to growing quickly! (but we wont get too big, we like smaller company vibes)

We're currently looking for these roles:

1) (US Only) An application security expert who isn't afraid of the management side of things to join our rapidly expanding team as a Managing Consultant perhaps you're a people manager, or don't mind talking to clients and can help our sales team out with the tech side of things?

2) (EU, South Am, North Am) An application security hacker who wants to hack on a ton of apps for small and big tech companies and even loves security research too perhaps! https://old.reddit.com/r/netsec/comments/mi5lrc/rnetsecs_q2_...

Looking forward to hearing from you HN!

Aledade | Software Engineer (many roles, see link below) | Remote USA | https://www.aledade.com

Note: We are hiring for multiple positions for Software Engineers, Senior Software Engineers, Technical Leads, etc, due to a massive expansion in our business.

While we are looking for "T-shaped" engineers, heavy front-end experience is not required. I personally only work on the back-end writing Python and SQL and never touch the front-end. Thanks for listening, now for the canned stuff...

"Aledade is a leader in population health that is using innovative, value based solutions to transform the way physicians interact with their patients. We are on a mission to change healthcare for the better and solve complex problems within the healthcare system.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help develop our web application, which helps deliver the right care to the right people at the right time. A Senior Software Engineer on the Aledade App team is primarily responsible for expanding, improving, and maintaining our existing web application. We’re looking for our engineers to be self-starting, and proactive; they are expected to serve as a trusted resource on the business logic in place as well as our system architecture. They are expected to work collaboratively, with minimal supervision, to ensure our application meets our users’ needs, as well as project requirements and scalability characteristics. This is a remote telecommuting role and can be based anywhere in US."

On a personal note, my time at Aledade has been wonderful. The people I've worked with, both on the tech side of the house and the "in the field" employees have all been very knowledgeable and genuinely care about our mission. Our CEO and other leadership are VERY knowledgeable and genuinely care about the people in the company and our mission, and the transparency is like no other company I've ever worked for.

Our tech stack consists of Python 3, Postgres, Snowflake, DBT, Flask, and Vue for you lovers of pixels, and many other technologies as well.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions and/or a resume if you're interested, and I can submit your resume as a referral. Unfortunately due to the nature of the data and our work, we are only hiring people located within the U.S.

Truework | Software Engineer, SRE, EM, PM, Designer | San Francisco, CA | Full time | Onsite or Remote (US) | https://www.truework.com/careers/

Truework is hiring engineers, engineering managers, product managers and designers to help overhaul employment and income verification and build a trusted identity layer for internet commerce. A full list of roles can be found here: https://www.truework.com/careers

Truework is building a platform to make it easy to leverage income and employment information to do business on the internet. Our platform enables faster closing of loans and other transactions, increases access to financial products (that are often limited to W-2 employees with good credit), and gives employees visibility and control into how their employment information is shared with others. We are growing quickly and currently handle thousands of verifications every month, which has enabled the approval of billions of dollars in loans and helps employees in regulated professions (e.g. nursing) start work more quickly than before.

Our team is still small, which means you’ll play big a part in shaping the future of Truework, and your work will have a significant impact and visibility. We are a Django and React (Typescript) shop, and run our infrastructure on AWS.

I (Steve) am Truework's head of engineering. If you’re interested or want to know more about working at Truework, send me a note at (my HN username)@truework.com.

Microsoft Applied Sciences Group | Senior / Principal Software Dev | REMOTE (Canada) | Full-time I’m hiring for my Windows incubation team. We think of, research, and implement next-gen products, technologies, and user experiences. It’s like working at a startup, but with the job stability and perks of a large company. Is this role open for Seattle/Redmond as well?

Sorry, this role is currently open only for Canada, though we will support relocation in some cases (esp if you already have a PR).

The good news is that our sister team is also hiring: https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/job/1210106/Senior-Softw... That position is in Redmond, and requires similar qualifications since they have the same charter as us. In fact, we often "trade" people based project interest.

Guilded (YC S17) | Full Time | Full-stack software engineer | $150,000+ | REMOTE (U.S. only)

We're looking for senior full-stack software engineers to connect the world's online gaming communities. You'll join a quickly-growing, engineering-led team, where you'll be using modern processes and tools to build features that teams need and love (our users often say Guilded makes Discord feel like Skype).

We're a fully-remote and asynchronous team. We know that many engineers are the happiest and do their best work when they're empowered to build on their own schedule. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

We enjoy working and gaming together, have meetups in fun locations (when safe, last one was in Hawaii), and have a lot of very interesting challenges ahead in all areas from shipping new features to scaling infrastructure to meet demand.

You should have 5+ years of software development experience (ideally at least 2 years building and shipping consumer products) with expertise in Javascript, React, and SQL. Our tech stack is primarily Node and React, but we pull in other technologies as necessary.

Be sure to check out our company handbook and apply at https://www.guilded.gg/jobs

Feel free to email me questions at neil - at - guilded.gg

Felt | Frontend and Elixir Engineers | Oakland or REMOTE (US timezones) | Full-Time | https://felt.com

Felt is the best way to make maps on the internet. It's surprisingly hard to make a map today, and people in 15+ industries rely on them to do their jobs. Climate change and the resulting natural disasters are forcing even more people to become map-makers, and Felt is here to meet that need. It's the first easy-to-use collaborative mapping software, founded by a team of technologists with a proven track-record. My CEO, Sam, is a former YC founder with an exit [1] and I'm an early Uber engineer.

Our technology stack is Elixir (on Phoenix), a good amount of PostGIS and React on Typescript. We are looking for folks who want to work on a modern, collaborative web-app. Think Figma for Maps. We are especially on the lookout for front-end talent that is energized by the UI challenges of working on an infinite canvas and spatial tools.
