We've basically redesigned the hiring process from the ground up in partnership with input from some of the leading researchers in this space (Iris Bohnet a lot, Richard Thaler a little) to focus on instrumenting everything and finding the mose predictive assessments.

Think systems observability, but for hiring.

Small diverse team, equity, risk, reward, you know the drill.

We give hands-on training courses (generally 3-4 days each) to software developer teams (generally mid-level and senior devs) at companies like Intuit, Starbucks, and Salesforce. The courses are generally 40% lecture, 40% labs/coding, and 20% Q&A.

Because we've been growing, we need to find more developers/trainers to come teach for us.

Modular Science (YC S17) is building robots for outdoor vegetable farming. We're automating the entire growing cycle: planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting. Our goal is to make it easier to do sustainable farming. Our daily work involves Python, Arduinos, RTK GPS, stepper motors, water valves, and muddy fields.

At Two Orioles, we're building a team of video compression experts to create the highest-quality video compression algorithms and deliver this to some of the biggest video streaming companies in the business. We're looking for software engineers to enhance and further develop our VP9 and AV1 video encoders. This requires experience in C/C++. Knowledge of (x86) assembly is a plus. Ideal candidates are familiar with or have experience with the AV1, VP9, H264 or HEVC bitstream formats or model software and/or have experience working on (not with) opensource video codec software (x264/5, ffmpeg/libavcodec, libvpx/aom, etc.).
