Applied is a company on a mission - we're passionate about hiring the best person for the job regardless of race, gender or whether you come from the wrong part of town, whether you're not what they're used to, or whether your dad plays golf with the CEO on weekends.

We've basically redesigned the hiring process from the ground up in partnership with input from some of the leading researchers in this space (Iris Bohnet a lot, Richard Thaler a little) to focus on instrumenting everything and finding the mose predictive assessments.

Think systems observability, but for hiring.

We recently closed a modest (£1.5m) seed round and hiring a few key roles. There are currently 7 of us, including 3 engineers:

Signifyd | Backend Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Infrastructure Lead Engineer, Security Engineer | Anywhere

To solve this problem, we're looking for world-class engineers who are eager to learn, adopt, and contribute to a reactive style of programming. The tools you build will immediately impact the 5000+ merchants that already rely on Signifyd to help them grow without fear of fraud.

Our stack: Java, Python, Cassandra, MySQL, Solr, Apache Spark, Play! framework, Linux, Docker, AWS
