legacy-use.com | Co-Founder | Munich, Germany | Remote possible | Full-Time |

Most legacy software has no API and cannot be automated with Agentic AI. At our company builder (schub.tech) we had the same problem in one of our ventures and build ourselves a solution: based on computer-use, we can insert & extract information out of any software.

We believe this toolstack is useful to many others, hence we spin it out as a company. We are looking for co-founders to join us on the journey to open up backbone of German Mittelstand to AI automation.

See here my post announcing the role: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/schuon_co-founders-wanted-for...? Apply via join@schub.tech

Cheers, Sebastian (Founder of Schub)

Through one of such posts I found this blogpost - https://langfuse.com/blog/2024-12-langfuse-v3-infrastructure... which to me was very interesting. Maybe you should include it in your job description.

They take forever to reply (2 months since my first email, meanwhile they regularly kept posting the job on HN) and after the initial call had me take a home assignment that I spent almost an entire day on, then went total radio silence again - not even a generic "sorry for the delay" or a rejection email. I see I'm not an outlier, given others' comments under their postings. I don't think the job's fake - they just…

We're always looking to improve where we can to reduce any gaps in the process and to make sure no applications slip through the cracks.

I can't find any calls/interviews with your name and also can't find any submission from you on our code challenge[0] (which is the only take home task that we ask devs to do), but it may just mean that you've applied under a different name and GitHub profile than you have listed on the website in your about page/your HN username.

If you can reach out to me at david at serpapi.com and provide me with some more detail about your application I can try and find out what's happened here.

Earlier quoted context omitted.

From digging around a bit, typical AMS rates. 80-120k EUR. Other's are welcome to correct me though, if it's off.

Looking at the product I would say 2/3 of that would be closer to the reality. Numbers from your post are the ones for sexy finance/trading companies.

Have you been in the startup job market recently? 110k EUR seems like the most common baseline I see for high-growth EU startups hiring engineers with a few YoE. I don't work at a hyped finance company but I make north of the range listed above.

Sounds like you're required to be online during 1PM - 6PM, probably for communication purposes. It's really not that bad at all.

Aceart is hiring a full time full stack developer and a full/part time project manager. Based in Stuttgart Germany aceart is a small digital agency for apps, websites, and technical infrastructure. We are growing and would be happy to receive your applications for these roles in Stuttgart. We number only around 15.

About the full stack developer position. We are a no asshole company. If you think you know everything, no need to apply. We would prefer applications with experience in TYPO3 but if you can display in your interview that you can code in a language of your choice then apply.

You should have C1 German language knowledge. We talk to each other and with our clients and via email in German. On the other hand we code in English so you should have a good knowledge of English as well. A German working permit would also be a requirement.

We have nice perks such as bonuses when the year went well. We have a company outing every year. Christmas celebration is also a standard. You will receive a laptop with the operating system of your choice and the option to do limited home office.

Check out our website at https://www.aceart.de/ and send your applications to kontakt@aceart.de with a mention of hacker news aceartanonymous.
