Hi, I'm Peter, and I have 4 years of experience as a software engineer, spanning both frontend and backend. For the past year, I've been working as a Founding Engineer; primarily building distributed systems in Rust. I'd love to continue creating backend systems with Rust (and am giving high priority to these roles) but am open to other tech stacks as well. Remote: Hybrid, Remote - Currently trying to relocate to Europe, APAC, almost anywhere, but mostly targeting Europe (Spain, Italy, Portugal, Lisbon, Prague, Amsterdam, relatives in the UK) at the moment. Need a visa/sponsor for outside US work obviously.

Been doing IT for about 15 years. Automating everything via DevOps, Cloud, and On-Prem. Worked for startups, mid-size, large companies and did some DoD contractor jobs. Worked for media companies as well. I love music, playing guitar, being funny, and hopefully chillin with good people and places.

Hello! I'm Chris Martin, a.k.a. cmart. After 8 years working on research computing infrastructure at universities, I want to work for a company again. I'm particularly interested in building local-first software and similar user-empowering products in the original spirit of the personal computer revolution.
