Tech/Resume/CV:

I'm a generalist and an opinionated software engineer with experience both in management and as an indepth technical designer, I am looking forward to work with you. If you need a larger team at your disposal, I can arrange that with my industry connections. I'm not looking for "cog in the machine coder" type positions :)

Leave me your contact if you'd utilize my help with:

- Large web API implementations

- Automatic code quality checks and processes

- Software Engineer management coaching or mentoring

- Process and scoping help (how to leave development hell)

- Large data streaming and processing systems

... and plenty other things, really. I am certain we can figure out a way to solve your issues in the way that _brings joy_.

I've got 8+ years of senior experience (leading and managing projects and teams). I've recently written code in Go, TS (& React), and Python (deployment and architecture included) with traditional stacks (Postgre, Redis, Kafka, etc. etc) and I'm comfortable with all the modern web tech-stack. I've got some past experience with C#, PHP, and all kinds of scripting languages. I pick up languages quite quickly, so that shouldn't be a problem, and I've got a working knowledge of most programming paradigms.

Reach out to me:

I'm a software engineer with over 15 years of experience. I've been working remotely for the past 10 years, most recently for a YC biotech startup for 5 years (found through HN!) as well as dabbling with AI for a failed startup and some contract work. I've worked across the stack, from purely frontend work to processing jobs in Rust and everything in between. I do quite a bit of open-source projects in Rust: https://github.com/Keats/

Hey, I'm José! - but you can call me Joseph, if it's easier to you. I'm a Brazilian software developer with over 5 years of experience, passionate to solve business problems through the code. I have international experience working from Brazil to EU (Portugal and Germany timezones), and I worked in many projects from many business areas, from hospital management software, HR onboarding gamification to microservices that manages user preferences in a BMW car.

I'm especialized in backend development, REST API's implementations and integrating systems. But I also have some professional experience in front-end, in technologies like Next.js/React.js. I am self taught, so if you give me a time, I can learn any technology or concept and apply to the project.

I'm seeking for a opportunity to develop new exciting and impactful projects that brings value to the users. Don't hesitate to contact me, let's know each other!

Location: Austin, TX Remote: Remote preferred, but open to hybrid and full-time in-office

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: Ruby, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, HTML/CSS

Résumé/CV: https://tinyurl.com/dylanspyerresume

Email: dylanspyer@gmail.com

I am a full-stack software engineer from Austin, TX. Currently, I'm working on enhancing developer workflows by contributing to Netlify's open source CLI tool.

In addition to the work I'm doing at Netlify, I recently co-created Cerebellum, a cloud infrastructure and library for real-time applications, linked here: https://shorturl.at/PmXdJ

In a past life, I worked at Amazon for 6 years, the last 2 of which were as a Senior Program Manager in the delivery and logistics space.

I'm most interested in joining a team that is working on a meaningful problem, isn't afraid of breaking things, and is collaborative. Bonus points if you're in an industry I have experience in (delivery, logistics, warehousing, supply chain). Let me know if that's you!
