Atomic Object | Software Consultancy | Ann Arbor, MI | Onsite/Fulltime

https://atomicobject.com/careers/principal-consultant

--- Work with smart, passionate people. Make cool stuff. Learn every day. ---

Atomic is growing a diverse and inclusive team of curious, creative people who love creating great software for our clients.

JOB OVERVIEW Atomic is looking for a maker of leaders. As a Principal Consultant at Atomic, you will be a resource for technical leads, both new and old. You’ll show experienced developers what it means to live out Atomic’s Values as a professional and help new technical leads navigate their first projects as leaders.

You’ll also solve the thorniest technical problems on Atomic’s work for clients. Atomic makers work on self-managed teams of 2-10 designers, developers, and testers. Teams are project-based and the Principal Consultant and Developer goes where the need is the greatest.

Atomic lives by its teach and learn mantra. The Principal Consultant and Developer lives out this value by mentoring a new generation of developers as they leave our Accelerator program. The Accelerator will aid them in becoming software engineers & consultants. You will help them become technical leaders.

WHY ATOMIC? Since 2001, Atomic Object has designed and developed software products for web, mobile, desktop, IoT, and connected devices. We were founded on the belief that not all software is created equal. Many people can write code, but it takes a close-knit team of passionate people to create exceptional, innovative products that change the way people do business.

We’re an employee-owned company and a certified B Corporation with 70+ Atoms based in our Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids offices. Unlike many other technology companies, we have a flat organization. There is no corporate ladder to climb. As a company that values transparency, we practice open-books management. At Atomic, you can stay close to the craft of making software for your entire career without missing out on owning a part of the company and its profits.

Airbnb | Remote (preferably West Coast), Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA | Staff/Senior Software Engineer | Full-Time | airbnb.com

Airbnb Infrastructure is hiring for several key positions - we're looking for talented engineers across a wide variety of domains to build the platform that supports our mission to create a world where anyone can belong anywhere.

Airbnb is at a pivotal point in its growth and maturity as an engineering organisation. We run some of the largest Kubernetes clusters in the industry, have open sourced some extremely successful data tools (e.g. Superset), and are rapidly adopting newer technologies like Flink and Istio.

We use Terraform, AWS and Chef extensively. My team (Cloud Infra > Compute Infra) mostly uses Golang but it helps to have familiarity with (or a lack of fear of) Java and Ruby, which most of our product teams use.

We recently joined the CNCF end user community, and I recently shared my perspective on the Kubernetes ecosystem as part of a panel discussion [1].

We have positions open for senior, staff and senior staff engineers across the following teams:

+ Data Platform

+ ML Infrastructure

+ Developer Productivity

+ Cloud Infrastructure

Note that these positions are for experienced engineers and it helps if you have 5+ years of experience and/or have acted in a similar capacity in prior roles.

Check out all open roles and apply on our site [2]. If preferable, you can also send me a brief note about why you'd be a good fit, a link to the role you're interested in, and a resume to sunil.shah@airbnb.com.

Curative | Engineering (Front-end, Back-end, Infra), PM, design, user research | Remote | Full-Time | maddox@curative.com

Curative does COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. We have done 10s of millions of COVID tests across the country in less than a year. Not a single patient has had to pay anything.

We have now vaccinated over 1 million people and are rapidly rolling out sites across the country. For example, all Massachusetts vaccinations are run through our software.

We handle everything from scheduling, booking, on-site check-in and administration, the full-stack of testing in our labs, public health reporting, etc.

While we continue testing, our primary focus is on getting as many people vaccinated as quickly and safely as possible.

We are built on Postgres, Python, and React.

It's a wonderful combination of social good, a senior-heavy engineering team, big problems, and interesting engineering challenges.

Want to know what it's like to handle 70,000 requests per minute? To bill hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance claims? Shoot me an email:
