SEEKING WORK - Freelance/Contract - Remote from US

I'm a former founder whose last startup was acquired. I'm interested in helping companies build an MVP or convert a low-code prototype to code. I have a decade of development experience at companies ranging from new startups to publicly-traded corporations.

I can handle end-to-end web app product development from scratch, including product definition, backend + frontend development, and basic design.

When I pick a tech stack it's typically Rails + Hotwire + Tailwind, but I've worked in a variety of web stacks ranging including Vue, Go, Laravel, and Kubernetes. I'm an advanced user of Stripe, including their Connect product for marketplaces.

Here's a couple of projects I've built solo this year:

- https://postcard.page (~6 weeks)

- https://booklet.community (~12 weeks)

Open to flat-rate pricing for scoped projects.

Seeking work | San Francisco, CA or St. Paul, MN | Remote OK

Jack of all trades and master of none doesn't describe it. I've been in the game since I got done with Lego in my pre-teens 20 years ago. I like building tech more as a hobby than a job, but have great value to add to compatible teams. Most recently I've been working service and labor positions and building tech that fits into the framework of my own life.

I'm self-taught and later college educated, have built open source libraries and apps, worked in web agencies and SV/SF tech at stages from seed to post-IPO. I've served as tech lead and worked closely with product management at SaaS and consumer companies in product owner-like capacity (good writing and communication skills). Most recently I've been sharpening my marketing skills and learning SaaS/creator platforms on my own time.

My mindset is far more bootstrap with focus on profitability than VC. I can see big picture and have battle scars. I prefer to work with a team if the gig is more than a couple weeks but can deliver from isolation with concrete goals. I love training people to take over my job, the lower skill the better to a degree--it forces better documentation and visibility and justifies automation. I've worked with teams from all over the world and am pretty sensitive to cross cultural communication.

If you provide me with a job description I can make a single page resume with relevant experience.

Thanks.

SEEKING WORK | Dallas, TX | Remote Only | https://summertime-development.com/

=============================================================

Howdy, I'm Summer! I've been doing software development for nearly 13 years, and would love to help your team out with any React or React Native project! It's my wheelhouse.

* I write code like the big companies - and I enforce unit tests, CI/CD, and clean code. I can do all the setup, too!

* I have no problem coming up with deadlines and communicating with the business. As a fundamental rule, I am always transparent and honest about my work. Need me to break down tasks, assign them out, and play project manager? I can do that, too!

* I love mentoring and helping others. Any developers under my wing will learn everything I know. I've worked at IBM, multiple staffing firms, and other small shops so I've seen it all! I am a very kind and bubbly person, so any developer will always feel safe to ask me questions and learn.

* I'm a US Citizen living in Dallas, Texas, and I add diversity to your team, as a woman!

  - Role : Principal Software Developer and Team Lead
  - Stack : React JS, React Native, Redux, Typescript, Redux Saga, Mocha/Jest with Sinon
  - LinkedIn : https://www.linkedin.com/in/summertime/
  - Website : https://summertime-development.com/
  - Rates start at $160 USD an hour.
  - I'll be available late June

SEEKING WORK - Netherlands - Remote-only

I'm a full-stack engineer looking for contract work*.

I'm most experienced in PHP/Laravel and Javascript/Typescript/React, but am pretty tech-fluid. I'm also comfortable building (and consuming) both RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Previously, I worked at Etsy (three years) and Trello (five years, both pre- and post-Atlassian acquisition).

Recent client projects include a Next.js site backed by a WordPress/GraphQL API and an MVP for a video recording and annotation app build with Laravel.

In my spare time, I build projects for a non-profit called the Vegan Hacktivists. My biggest project there would be https://veganlinguists.org, which I've written 100% of the code for.

My ideal project would be solo-shipping an MVP in the span of 2-4 weeks depending on the complexity, but I'm also open to working on longer projects with other developers as well.

email: grardb@gmail.com

* To be clear, I am not looking to be a full-time employee who is paid as a freelancer. Rather, I'm looking to work on specific projects for a predetermined amount of time.
