I've been a dev and manager for the last 10 years, most recently serving as a manager at Oracle. My github and blog are fairly prolific so please start there.
I'm particularly interested in working with small companies on scaling data systems and building out internal analytics/reporting systems. I'm building an open-source product to help facilitate the latter [0].
I'm focused on contract engagements at the moment.

Howdy folks, I'm wrapping up my position as a startup founder in the cannabis industry and looking for my next opportunity. I've got quite a bit of experience both in traditional tech job roles as well as in IT consulting + entrepreneurial (10+ years each) and have a very good understanding of wide breadth of technologies having been working with tech since the early days of TCP/IP and the Internet. I have also worked in/with a very diverse set of industries, and have a strategic mindset when it comes to building products, services, and businesses. Love to solve problems big or small, love to make things more efficient, and especially love to create. Fun facts: I first started programming games as a kid on a Vic 20, and most recently have been awarded a few patents related to controlled environment agriculture technology.
