minor unwarranted tip: you don't need "|" between letters in character sets in regexps. grep "[r|R]elocate" would match "relocate", "Relocate", yes, but also "|elocate". You probably want grep '[Rr]elocate' or grep '\(R\|r\)elocate' or just grep -i relocate
