Resume: https://share.getcloudapp.com/5zurlRrR --
Senior full-stack dev (lean more towards devops->backend than backend->frontend, but I can still sling some React components together and reduce your JS payload size). Lately I've been loving Stimulus Reflex and playing with a lot of micropython/ESP32/IoT stuff.
I excel at figuring out how to solve problems at all levels of abstraction (including what level of abstraction you should use), getting a solution in place, and then figuring out the feedback loops to iterate on that solution. I'm the senior engineer that knows that most coding is coming to an understanding of what problem you are trying to solve. Sometimes the most impactful code is the code you don't write.
Trying to change the world, still parsing the source code. I've been programming on the web since 1995, had a first career as a social worker and policy statistician, and have worked full-time as a programmer for almost a decade now.
Especially enjoy API and system design, integrating with crappy systems, user research, and really weird bugs. Make a decent PM in a pinch, but would prefer you have great PMs.
Will give you more looks if you can tell me why what you are doing makes the world better, but you've got to really believe it in your heart.

Hi,I'm Robin, (Senior) Staff Engineer with 10 years of experience. On the Will Larson staff archetype chart I register mostly as Architect and/or Solver, and I enjoy figuring out what is needed for organisational success. I've most recently worked at CircleCI on the core pipeline orchestration platform as well as config processing. Relevant experiences here include high throughput distributed systems and compilers.
I'm somewhat conversational in Japanese, but by no means business level (yet). Native in German, and can get by in French or Dutch, if need be.

Hi, I have 4+ years of experience as a backend developer and now looking for an async remote job. I mostly work on my organization Core Microservices and making library/wrapper/tooling for other backend engineer to use.I do communication mostly in teams and google meet for my past and current work. I had experience working with people in UK and India. My manager was from India and Product Manager from UK. I have no timezone issue because we can communicate asynchronously and meeting can be scheduled at the overlapped time.
Hit me up :)

I'm an experienced engineer looking for frontend/js/React work—potentially just a very short-term contract, but would consider longer term employment with the right company.I spent the early part of my career building products for early stage startups; for the last 7yrs I've almost exclusively built with web technologies (as an independent contractor+entrepreneur) and know the space well. I can learn whatever's needed, communicate well, get along with everyone, good balance of pragmatism and strong technical foundations. I have a long history with UX and product design.
For a good example of recent work (React/webpack/Electron/Typescript/Material-UI)—I spent ~10days building this: https://github.com/westoncb/generation-q
Here is a more serious product I designed and built: https://diskatlas.com/
My portfolio site is old, ugly and actively being replaced but here ya go: http://symbolflux.com/
