I've been coding pretty much my whole life and love meaty systems problems. I've been working in a startup in automation for PR operations, but recently the CEO decided to outsource the eng team. I'm a builder at heart and can work pretty much with any stack (especially with how good agents are now). Also, I use Vim :)Ask HN: Who wants to be hired? (June 2026)

Senior full-stack and AI systems engineer with 15+ years of experience building web products, SaaS platforms, infrastructure, and applied AI systems end-to-end.
Recently built an AI research/data-extraction system using LLM APIs, embeddings, structured outputs, evals, prompt versioning, Python automation, and TypeScript backend/frontend pieces. It reduced research workflows from several weeks to ~30 minutes and processed millions of documents.
Before that I was lead engineer for a production e-commerce marketplace, working across frontend, backend, infrastructure, security, reliability, internal tools, and major migrations. I helped move major parts of the platform from JS to TS, MariaDB to PostgreSQL, Heroku/Fly.io to DigitalOcean, Fastly to Cloudflare, SCSS to Tailwind.
I’m usually a good fit for small teams that need someone senior who can take ambiguous product or technical problems and turn them into reliable software. Open to remote contract, fractional, or part-time work.

Senior Security Engineer with 5+ years of experience across SIEM/SOAR automation, detection engineering, cloud security, endpoint security, threat intelligence, and incident response. I have built and maintained large-scale logging and detection pipelines, custom SOAR integrations, Splunk/Azure Sentinel/ELK detections, XSOAR/Phantom/Swimlane playbooks, and security automation workflows for federal and enterprise environments.
Recent work includes securing Azure-hosted Logstash collectors, integrating Microsoft Sentinel / Log Analytics ingestion from endpoints, appliances, APIs, and network devices, hardening deployment pipelines with Git tag verification, cryptographic signatures, SHAsum validation, and pinned Docker image digests, and reducing SOC alert fatigue through better detection logic and automation.
I am especially interested in roles around security automation, detection engineering, cloud security, AI security, product security, incident response, or security platform engineering. I enjoy making security quieter, faster, and easier for engineers and analysts to live with.

Senior engineer with 13 years in FAANG and plenty of experience working on core Python developer tooling, build infrastructure, and backend services. Most recently at Astral working on Ruff. Looking to bring my broad expertise to any company with a human-focused mission that won't require me to use AI agents to get my work done.
