Some honest feedback. That's a pretty low salary, not made-up for by the lack of equity.

WattCarbon offers a software platform to address climate change that integrates real-time grid carbon intensity data with energy data from buildings, devices, and production units to optimize carbon emissions reductions in buildings.

We are an early stage startup that raised a $1.5 million pre-seed round in late 2021. You would be the third engineer and sixth team member. We are open to any applicant who lives in the US - you should be comfortable working in a fully distributed, remote-first company.

We are trying to address under-representation in tech through benefits and paid leave policies that are compatible with a diversity of personal and family situations, including a 32-hour work week and flexible work hours.

We have committed to a salary for this role of $150,000 plus company equity, irrespective of location or other factors.
