#256Remote: Preferred. Local commutes OK as long as not every day at rush hour.
Willing to relocate: prefer to stay in PDX, but everything has a price
Technologies: C++, Rust, Linux/Unix, x86 assembly. I know how cache hierarchies work.
Résumé/CV: I'm a Unix systems person, primarily. I like the old joke that "I'm a full stack engineer - I can code for user space AND kernel space."
I have experience with a wide variety of Unix platforms. I spent several years at a configuration management company trying to make their tools behave the same across Solaris, AIX, and a dozen flavors of Linux. I have some fun war stories from that job that I'd love to share.
I have also spent a bit of time doing some blockchain things in Rust.
