Hey! I'm Noah, a Full Stack & Machine Learning Engineer looking for my next step. I've been responsible for helping bring AI products to production, comfortably working with inter-disciplinary teams to get it done. Most recently worked with/working on LLMs for humanitarian needs. I'd love to find a new role with something that continues to bring ML into everyday life in responsible ways, and giving people more free time to browse websites like this :-)

Hi, My name is Michael Shyer. I'm a software engineer based in NYC passionate about building monitoring and observability systems and working with big data. Most recently, I created a monitoring framework called Canopy, which is designed to help AWS customers monitor and improve the performance of their CDN configurations. You can read more about the project and the problem domain on our website https://canopy-framework.github.io

I'm looking for a new opportunity. Feel free to reach out if you think I may be a good fit for your team!

I want to be hired. I live East to middle of nowhere, so I work remote, I spent my whole life getting barely paid for doing stuff in some esoteric programming languages and so my resumé would look totally ridiculous. Screw it, I don’t have a chance. It’s not what you can do, it’s how many buzzwords you put in your CV. So yes, I want to be hired, but I can’t convince anyone to do it as I am bad at it.

Sad that you have this problem too, my problem is not wanting to work full time, thats why I work in other industries and use my tech qualifications doing hobby work for personal enjoyment only.

Remote: Sure, but I'd rather work in an office and commute like it's the '90s.

Relocate: Yes. SF or NYC, possibly elsewhere if an interesting place.

Technologies: JavaScript Node/Deno. Linux.

I've mostly been tracking with web development on the Internet since 1999. I think startups are cool, and user interfaces could be better. I have an interest in giving every object on the Internet a unique id, and reaching more people across the last mile problem. Sure I'll code in JavaScript framework X, but probably you can just create a DOM object and be fine. If you say AI I'll probably ask you if you mean LLM. If you email me, expect a quick telephone call to determine if we are compatible individuals. And I won't create a username and password on your system until you hire me, because that's a waste of your marketing budget.
