Location: Spain, Europe, EU, EMEA

Remote: Yes

Willing to relocate: Yes, although I'd need a relocation package. I have an EU passport so working anywhere in the EU isn't an issue.

Technologies: Javascript ecosystem (TypeScript, NodeJS, React, MERN stack, I do both backend and frontend although it's been a while since I touched CSS) and Java (Spring Boot). I've touched a bit of Go before and other tech like Ruby, PHP, Python, native mobile dev, Flutter, React Native and a long etcetera list. I've also dealt with cloud and devops although I wouldn't consider myself an expert.

The link above is my blog, on the top right corner you can find my LinkedIn as well as my Twitter, contact me however you want.

I'm a full stack developer that's been freelancing for 4+ years now and my last full time role was CTO of a startup/scaleup. I'm looking for any long term full time SWE position, backend or frontend doesn't matter much. I want to settle for at least a year (more preferred) in a company or work consistently with one tech stack.

I’m a web and app developer with over 15 years of professional experience. I’ve worked at startups, mid-sized companies, and large corporations including Apple, eBay, and the Comcast Silicon Valley Innovation Center. I specialize in full-stack web development, but I’m also experienced in iOS development, server administration, database design, and more. I'm primarily available for freelance work (short and medium term contracts) through my own LLC, but I'm very flexible when it comes to when and how I can provide value to your team/project.

-------------

About me: I'm a recent PhD grad in mathematics looking for opportunities to work on exciting problems and grow my experience in tech. Plenty of experience with Python, and bits and pieces of experience with many other technologies; I'm a quick study and am more than happy to pick up new tools as a job demands. If you've got complex, ambiguous problems that could benefit from someone thinking deeply about them and explaining them cogently to others I'd love to hear from you! My background in mathematics makes security related work a likely good fit for me and is something I'm interested in, but I'm open to any opportunities where I might be able to contribute.
