Most Haskellers do not know much about category theory, I don't know why you'd imply that. Just look at how much Haskell you can write without thinking about how Functor is covariant, or that Contravariant even exists.

Actually I'm implying that most Cat theorists are haskellers, at least the ones I know.

Not that my sample size is significant at all. I know about 4 and a half Cat theorists at most if you exclude the internet ones... haha
