Depends on the model. Panamera is definitely a daily driver type of car.

Sure, Porsche also makes more sensible cars. One of the people I know whop owns a 911 has a Cayenne as his day to day car.

Excellent insights from the replies. I would like to offer my own. There is a philosophy that says design for function. Let's say there is a sleek shape for a car that does not walk the talk, what are the social aspects of owning that car? Think of modded watches , or the Toyota Celica, with a little modification it can be made to look like a decent sports car , would you buy it if it didn't perform?
