We're building AI-powered systems to make hospital operating rooms safer and more efficient. We're looking for a seasoned engineer who values clean code, robust architecture, and a collaborative culture. You'll join a small, strong team and will have a massive impact on a product used in high-stakes clinical environments. We are looking for engineers with strong fundamentals, and who knows how to work efficiently in a team through code reviews and version control.

The role: We're looking to add a founding ML engineer to build out our data science practice (and ideally hire and lead a data science team). You would be our first ML hire and working alongside our data engineering and product teams to identify, scope, POC, and productionize relevant analytic use cases to help drive new and improved product offerings, and to elevate our client experience. Our data eng stack is mostly Python + AWS, and you will have the resources and support to develop an ML stack alongside that. Generally, if you like working with data, tackling open-ended problems, and (optionally, but always nice) building cool products to help folks take a more active role in their investments --- you'll probably have a good time here!

PredictDAO is a blockchain-based nonprofit global health organization building prediction markets for real-world public goods in the healthcare sector. The intended users for our tools include foundations, aid agencies, and high-net worth individuals.

We are pre-launch, with two full-time employees at the moment, and interested in finding another engineer who is excited about our mission of saving and improving lives by filling some of the funding gaps caused by recent budget cuts to USAID.
