A lot of people think Splunk must be a terrible place to work at because they think it is an "enterprise" company. But the truth is, we have great jobs for a lot of people. We're one of the thousands of startups doing social networking. Our focus is on groups and events.

We've built a real-time stack of our own that bridges backbone.js socket.io gunicorn+gevent django. The web application is nearly all single-page architecture, with both web and mobile making use of an API. We use coffeescript pretty much everywhere.

    * frontend: coffeescript, jQuery, backbone.js, socket.io, compass

We'll be growing our user base very soon -- we've amassed a small army of interns at most colleges around our initial metro launch area and need knowledge/experience optimizing and scaling the above technologies.
