Hi, I'm Theo.

I'm currently finishing up my Master's in CS at the University of Cambridge, with a focus on geometrically-inspired approaches to ML.I'm looking for ML Engineer/Dat Scientist jobs in NYC (where I lived and worked prior to my degree), but am open to remote jobs in the US generally (and am a US citizen so no visa requirements). Open to almost any industry, my number one criteria is working on interesting analytical and engineering problems!

My previous experience was as a data scientist at a hedge fund, working on leveraging alternative data to analyze private investment opportunities. I'm comfortable getting my hands dirty with messy datasets, building my own ETL pipelines, and working on challenging, ill-defined analytical problems that require creative solutions.

Technology-wise I'm best in python, including the usual DS stack (pandas/sklearn etc.), and am experienced with DL libraries (mainly PyTorch, some JAX/TF), and probabilistic programming/bayesian statistics libraries (PyMC3, BoTorch).

I am a college sophomore studying cybersecurity with several years of practical experience in software reverse engineering, malware analysis and the automation of binary analysis tasks. I am also familiar with computer forensics tools such as Volatility. Some of my past projects include reverse engineering, fixing and updating legacy scanner drivers [1] as well as writing deobfuscators to handle software in various languages. While I was in high school, I uncovered and reported vulnerabilities in various ed-tech software packages.

I am looking for an internship in the cybersecurity field, ideally in a role that involves software reverse engineering. I'm open to other roles as well, including penetration testing work. If you think we'd be a good match, please do reach out!

Hi, I'm Eliza, a backend Haskell developer with significant experience at startups. I just left a 10 person startup where I was able to take on a lot of responsibilities on my own, and I'd love to find a similar position. That being said, if it's Haskell or Python backend, I'd be interested in seeing what your company's like!

Location: Chicago, IL

Remote: Preferred

Willing to relocate: with a stipend

Technologies: Haskell (Servant/postgresql-simple preferred, with experience in Beam and Yesod), Python (Flask)

Location:

Remote: yes, or hybrid near Portland, Oregon

  Willing to relocate: no

Technologies/Skills: PHP, JavaScript, DevOps, Drupal, CDN, Open Source Contributing, PeopleOps, Varnish, AWS

  Résumé/CV: https://www.linkedin.com/in/elijahlynn/ && https://github.com/ElijahLynn

  Email: elijah@elijahlynn.net

  Salary range: 175K-200K
I'm looking to work on projects that are ideally Open Source and be on a team that also contributes back upstream to its dependencies both by opening issues, code and monetarily. I'm looking for a team that values pair programming and "default to open" for communication. I've been doing backend and devops for 10+ years in the enterprise (NBCUniversal & Red Hat) and government (VA.gov (AWS GovCloud)) space. I have many contributions upstream to open source projects including Drupal & Ansible.

I'm mostly doing DevOps right now but I may be considering a move up the stack to doing pure Front-end now. I built my blog (www.elijahlynn.net) in Gatsby (React) and have been doing HTML/CSS for 20+ years too, but rusty, but a quick learner. I'm probably not the best coder, but I ask a lot of questions and am always looking towards the quality solutions that have the least technical debt. I'm really good at cross-team collaboration and communicating overall, that is probably my strength that enables me to get things shipped and done.

Lastly, I am pretty interested in compassion-based therapy lately and want to eventually transition to being a therapist and opening a free trauma and chronic pain therapy center in the PDX/Portland area in the next 5-10 years. So a transition to a project around mental health would be really sweet!

I'm open to a pre-application video chat with anyone > https://cal.com/elijahlynn.
