Location: Central USA (Chicago metro)

Willing to relocate: Probably Not

Technologies: Pretty much anything, but I am strongest with C and Go

Résumé/CV: Upon serious request

After a year and a half of remote work, I am no longer interested in going back to the office. I’ve been at my current employer for 14 years and in that time I’ve been a driving force in the completion of 15 large projects, 8 of which were external products that shipped to paying customers - top universities and big names on Wall Street. I’m not going to wow you with my leet code skills (don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t still be in this business if I wasn’t worth my salary). We are a good match if you need to get something over the finish line. Every single project I’ve worked on has been dysfunctional in its own special way. I am really, really good at figuring out how to overcome and get things done, out the door, and into the hands of people that are willing to pay real money. That’s what I do. External product #9 is almost ready and has a customer waiting list. It’s the perfect time for me to switch - I never leave anyone hanging. If everything is perfect at your company, go ahead and take a pass. If not, well, my email is brb591@g.harvard.edu (PS - that’s a zero-prestige email. The extension school has really good classes for the people that like to learn)
