Pardon my harshness, but the generated photos look terrible. It is clear just from looking at them that the face has been pasted onto a template with little modification.

Fair enough, it's a toy project from when first nano banana came out and I wanted to see what I could do with it.

I left it running because it's my first project ever to get traction in terms of regular users, even though it costs me a few dollars a month to run. It's clearly not good enough to pay for

This. In spite of the fact that they almost never get any traction, I still see half a dozen of these all-in-one Video/Image generators on Show HN on an almost weekly basis, because it's apparently the “hello world” of vibe coding.

I entered a prompt, was then asked to sign in, signed in using Google, then had to choose a completely different prompt which I couldn't scroll through on mobile, for it to tell me I have no credits. I then opened a tab to Gemini and entered my prompt to get an image for free.

Did you check if the registration works? If the registration form for "other sign in methods" ends up partially off screen on desktop, mouse scrolling doesn't work and the only way to reach the rest of the fields (for me it was verification code field, the button to request the code and registration button) is to press Tab. Verification code requests end with 502 Bad Gateway from Cloudflare.
