Hi! I'm Samuel. I have 6+ years as a product manager and 10 in product development (before pm: agile coach, UX designer, and developer). I work closely with engineering teams, supporting them in every way I can, and have contributed code in every role I have ever held. I am very curious and driven to learn, so diving in deep is always a thrill. On the flip side, I regularly tackle ambiguous problems and plan our product and company strategy with the executive team.Re: Ask HN: Who wants to be hired? (May 2024)

Designer (and consultant), specialising in on brand digital experiences and end-to-end design processes (and systems) with a practical understanding of both business and front-end development. Self-taught. Worked with startups and companies of various sizes, stages and teams in Europe and the US.
Exploring new, long-term engagements (and relationships) with small-to-med size teams, with the aim to expose and immerse more with complex digital experiences (products, services etc). In the case of freelance collaboration first, I can invoice through my company (registered in Estonia, EU), either project based fixed or weekly-monthly based rate – whatever makes most sense.

I'm a programmer with >10 years experience, primarily working remotely on a freelance or contract basis. My recent experience is mostly with probabilistic programming languages and adjacent fields (e.g. machine learning) but I'd be happy to work in any technically interesting domain. I’ve mostly written Python of late, but I'm willing to switch languages as necessary. I've also done web dev in the past, and play with electronics & FPGAs for fun.
