I have had the good fortune to spend the last couple of years working at the ground level of an EdTech startup. I joined at an entry level position and was able to work my way to a Director in only three years. During my time at the company, I have worked in tandem with C-Level Executives, directly with major clients, and oversaw the entirety of our main revenue driving product as its sole owner. I have also personally handled the Support side for all customers, clients, and co-workers. The unique experience of handling Support, while at times draining, gave me a direct view into how customers think about and use a product. The combinations of all these experiences has given me an inside view on the inner workings and machinations of a scrappy startup fighting to survive as well as the bureaucratic bloat that can be endemic to large corporations. Moving quickly and breaking things can sully your customer's trust in you; Moving too slowly with too much red tape can fail a project for no other reason than idleness.
I am open to working in a management position or getting back to my roots and working in an engineering role. Even better, I would like to get into another hybrid role of higher level management and low-level engineering. I think those of us already working in tech forget how much of a superpower programming can be in all facets of business.
If you think you have a fit for me in your company or if you just want to reach out and discuss something, my email is sam@woodward.fyi and I am always glad to talk tech.
The current desired areas of interest for my next company are * National security * Security (General) * Climate Change * Agriculture * Automotive * Robotics * Fintech
I have no interest in anything `crypto' or `web3` related.

What I'm looking for: Mid-level Product Management
Hi, I'm Nick. I've spent the past 5 years building an Ed-Tech startup with clientele from around the world. I was the founding Product Manager & User Experience head - and I want to continue growing as a Product Manager.
Additionally, I've built a e-Commerce operation from the ground up, and I also had a 6 month stint in a healthcare startup as a PM. Currently, while searching for work, I am operating a small business while trying to level up my PM skills by taking courses.
