REMOTE: Grasswire - Junior Front End Developer

Grasswire is an open source news source that anyone can edit.

Grasswire is "open source" both in the sense that any of the content (photos, videos, text, tweets and videos) on Grasswire can be edited by anyone at any time, and in the sense that the code used to run the site will soon be on GitHub for anyone to play with. We'll be pushing the full Grasswire live in a couple weeks, and have an excited user base anxiously waiting. We're playing with some stuff on the current https://grasswire.com now, so you can check that out, but the next iteration will be quite different.

Our backend is built in Scala, and use the Play framework as our front end templating engine, but this position will be mostly working with our senior web developer in HTML/CSS(SASS)/Javascript (jQuery and AJAX). This would be a great position for someone who is good with JS and really looking to cut their teeth and get used to shipping quickly and iteratively. We try to ship daily to production. It's scrappy and intense and that's how we like it.

Check out https://grasswire.recruiterbox.com/jobs/fk059b to apply or email me austen@grasswire.com with questions

Justworks | http://www.justworks.com | NYC NY ONSITE only

We're looking for engineers to help build out tools to help small businesses and startups run their companies. Think of us as a company back office as a service. Currently we do payroll, benefits administration (health, dental, vision, 401k, disability etc), compliance (EPLI, workers comp etc.), tax filing, as well as standard HRIS stuff like vacation tracking, document storage etc. Our goal is to give small business access to the same tools that large businesses have.

Beyond being technically proficient, we are looking for people who want to be involved in the creation of a strong engineering culture. We are an engineering focused company (our CEO is an engineer and helped build a lot of our stack).

We've just raised a $13mm series B from Thrive, Index and Bain Capital Ventures and are growing extremely quickly. Please feel free to reach out to me (contact info in profile) if you have any questions about the position.

We are also hiring in design and product.

Enigma.io| http://enigma.io/ | NYC | lee.gutman@enigma.io

We're Hiring!

OUR MISSION The volume of data created by governments and businesses is growing exponentially. Organizations struggle just to store it all, let alone make sense of it. Enigma helps organizations and individuals fuse, organize, and explore data to make smarter decisions. At Enigma, we started from the realization that there is an enormous quantity of hidden knowledge locked away in data silos and obscure formats, just waiting to be released. We are building data discovery and analytics tools that make it simple for organizations to liberate their own private data, and for the wider community to explore and build upon Enigma’s own integrated public data platform. We believe data can reveal tremendous things about the world and that it will continue to transform it in the years and decades to come.

We're in total growth mode, just raised our Series B and looking to build our Engineering team. Feel free to check out our blog:http://blog.enigma.io/
