Not me.

  Location: US
  Remote: N/A
  Willing to relocate: Fuck no.
  Technologies: Beside the point.
Many years ago this industry adopted management philosophies like Agile/Scrum in an effort to reduce a craft to factory work - and in the process reduced developer efficiency by many times. Now we have AI and every developer is instead a manager of very fast robot monkeys hammering out garbage.

Why would I want to be hired in this environment? I'd rather starve.

I’m offering three b2b startups a FREE product market fit workshop.

What: A 1.5 day foundation sprint to refine your product/market fit hypothesis.

Great for: B2B startups just getting started and want to build or validate their thesis. AND startups working on product expansion into new areas.

Outcomes: clear target audience, problem, and solution that come together to into a winning recipe for product/market fit

Why: I’m testing the workshop out for practice, and I might consider offering it commercially.

To express interest, please fill out the form above. Everyone will get a response.

I’m a Fractional Product Advisor, working with startups building B2B Vertical Software, with a special focus on brick-and-mortar merchants. I’m a professional skeptic; I like to challenge strongly held beliefs in order to reframe them for greater success. I lead through curiosity, with genuine care for users, and for the thrill of growth.

I’m a senior-level Database Reliability (DBRE) and Platform Engineer with deep experience across AWS RDS (Aurora MySQL and PostgreSQL), Kafka, Redshift, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD and observability tooling. I’ve supported high-traffic production environments in gaming, retail and subscription video on demand (SVOD), reduced annual cloud costs by more than $1M, built near zero-downtime database migration pipelines and led large multi-node upgrade and reliability efforts.

I’m happiest in roles where I can stay hands-on while helping shape the technical approach for data and infrastructure. My focus is building reliable, scalable data platforms and solving the performance and infrastructure challenges that show up in real production systems. I’m looking for opportunities in DBRE, platform engineering or cloud database architecture where I can contribute quickly, especially in areas like observability and performance. I’m open to both full-time and contract roles.

Full Stack Engineer, with an eye on fast turnaround times, a heart for inclusive brand experiences, a passion for secret portals and a driving need for client deliverable approval. [metaphor extension accepted] Together, with my calmly calculated conscious brain, my interrupting creative idea impulse and my real-world dominant eye's focus on delivering desired results to those who hire me, we can, and will, produce something even more valuable than money.

I'm looking to join a team full time.

I'm also available to work on freelance projects during the holidays.
