SEEKING WORK | Full-stack Django Developer & AI Engineer

  Location: Thailand (GMT+7)
  Remote: Only
Willing to relocate: No (Within Thailand only)
Technologies: Django, Python, HTMX, AlpineJs, Tailwind, SQL, PostGreSQL
  Résumé/CV: https://edwin.genego.io/

As a Sr. Software Engineer & Web-developer primarily working with Python frameworks. I am comfortable wearing many hats, and have worked through small to large sized projects for different sized clients (small to enterprise), building tech both on the Back & Front-end as well as Infra.

I am currently looking for an AI or LLM company to work with. I have worked with clients in AI since 2022 - and am currently spending several hours per day experimenting with AI & LLMs. From getting my hands dirty with the latest models and papers, to working on small applications that use AI. Especially when it comes to agentive apps (read: function calling or code writing-and-executing models), real world simulations (simulating 1000s of interactions with LLMs) or forecasting with LLMs. I have a few exploratory side-projects to show. And a huge amount of passion for the subject matter (productizing AI & LLMS) to bring to the table. AI-Stack keywords: LangChain, LLamaIndex, AutoML, MLFlow, AG2 (formerly Autogen), tinytroupe, oasis

I'm a CS Grad turned Product Manager with over seven years of experience building B2B and B2BC products used by millions worldwide. Since I have had the opportunity to join product teams early, I have led impact over product management, design, and growth. This intersection of disciplines is something I have enjoyed in my previous roles, and it's something I believe the team can benefit from as well, especially at this stage.

Having worked remotely throughout my professional life, I'm used to effectively collaborating with team members situated in different time zones and continents and like operating in these timezones: CET, GMT, EST

Some highlights:

- 2x Founding (& First) PM

- 2x Founder

- 2x Angel Investor

Looking for Product Manager and/or roles where I'd be customer-facing and get to work on product and ops.

Over the past decade, I founded and grew two companies, taking them from 0 to millions of users in over 100 countries. I've had to wear a lot of hats, including: full-stack software engineering, hiring and training developers, working with them for years, architecting systems, carrying out multi-year roadmaps, interfacing with clients, raising money, and so on. I tend to think deeply about the social and practical business implications of technology decisions. I probably deliver the most value in roles where I can help shape the technology solutions and make sure they achieve your business goals.

Hi, I’m Andy Chuang. I’m looking for freelance, contract, or full-time opportunities where I can help you strengthen your brand and build meaningful connections across cultures through branding, technology, and psychology.

As the founder of Good Characters, I bring over 20 years of experience creating high-stakes, legally compliant Chinese names for global leaders in technology, finance, energy, and consumer goods. My proven process includes:

* Extensive Research: Generating a comprehensive list of culturally appropriate and impactful name candidates.

* Deliverables: Providing a detailed 100+ page naming report and a concise executive summary.

* Collaboration: Working closely with your team across America and Greater China to ensure trademark readiness and alignment with your goals.

In addition to naming, I can support your team with:

* Brand Language Strategy: Developing a consistent and impactful vocabulary for Chinese communications, aligned seamlessly with your English brand language.

* AI Integration Collaboration: Creating processes to train AI models that refine and customize your brand language for better consistency and cultural relevance.

My technical skills include proficiency in PHP, Swift, SQL, web development, and the Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring a seamless blend of branding expertise with technology.

My work has been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and other prominent publications. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology, which deepens my ability to craft messaging that resonates with diverse audiences. Recognized for the national significance of my expertise in Chinese naming, I was approved for immigration to pursue this important work. I’m eager to use my skills to support U.S. businesses in creating meaningful cultural connections and expanding their global reach. While I prefer remote work, I’m open to short-term travel for in-person collaborations as needed. Let’s connect to discuss how I can help with your branding and naming initiatives.

I'm an engineer with many years of experience in Silicon Valley, working in management roles, engineering, and consulting. My expertise is mostly in back end systems, working in the modern Go/Docker/Kubernetes ecosystem. In addition to working directly on large and complex code projects I also managed and grew engineering teams at various companies.

If you need help with specific technical projects, or are looking for management roles please feel free to reach out. I'm very familiar with both the unique challenges of scaling up startups as well as working to innovate in large enterprise companies.

Specifically if you need help productizing and scaling out various AI/Machine Learning/LLM systems this would be a good fit.
