I am a data scientist with 3 years of experience in consulting. I am an excellent communicator and very much a people-person, and thrive in building rapport with stakeholders and explaining those technical concepts to non technical audiences. I also have over 8 years of non-commercial management and leadership experience.

I am largely looking for remote work, though I'm open to working in office in London or even relocating if required. My ideal role would be people-focused, through either managing people or managing projects, though I am of course open to more traditional data science / analyst roles too.

I've attained extensive experience in a variety of standards bodies, community software projects and leadership positions, and I'm keen to take on roles related to strategy and leadership in FOSS and Open Standards, for instance as part of a Open Source Program Office (OSPO). As for technologies, I'm something of a programming polyglot, regularly using everything from C and Go to Clojure and Lisp. I primarily specialise in Functional Programming, distributed identity systems and secure, reproducible software package supply chains.
