I am a full stack and mobile developer with a PhD in computer science and proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Swift. I am particularly excited by the recent advances in text and image generation and am seeking a company that shares my passion for using technology to drive innovation and improve people's well-being.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to the semantic web, knowledge representation, and machine learning, and have founded a few companies of my own. One recent project that I am particularly proud of is an emotions learning app that helps individuals better understand and manage their emotions. This app has already made a positive impact on the lives of people, and I am excited about the potential for it to reach even more people in the future.

I believe that my technical expertise, dedication to delivering mental well-being, happiness, and capability amplification, and my entrepreneurial spirit make me a valuable asset to any team. If you know of any opportunities that align with my goals and values, I would love to hear from you.

As a hands-on tech lead with 7 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle and telecoms industries, following 9 years in academia, I consider myself a builder of strong foundations for rapidly growing companies. I have expertise in areas such as testing, cybersecurity, software engineering, and recruitment, and am also quite proficient in using AWS and Terraform. I have experience leading small teams (up to 8) and am eager to continue growing as a technical leader. I'm a huge fan of Elixir and Rust, which I believe are the cornerstones of fast and robust systems!

Location: San Francisco, CA Remote: Yes, but if the position is in SF I am willing to work IRL

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: React, JS, Java, Kotlin, Unity, AR/VR, Frontend, Backend

Résumé/CV: https://www.finalatomicbuster.net/resume/resume-latest/

Email: hirevince@finalatomicbuster.net

I have spent the last 1.5 years or so working primarily in React JS for a SaaS startup. Prior to that I was more of a full stack person and contributed to and designed both front end applications and their backend components. In addition to a background in software engineering I have spent years as both a network engineer and a computer security researcher/tester.

In my personal time I am currently learning how to create AR/VR applications using c# and Unity. Additionally I contribute to an open source/free application at bikehopper.org. Currently integrating a backend I wrote in Kotlin that transforms geoJSON to Garmin Fit files that can be used to provide directions/routes on cycling computers!

I am looking to work with fun and smart people on interesting problems that inspire!

Thanks!
