Hi! I'm Matt, and I'm a full stack developer. I currently work in an enterprise environment on a .NET/Vue.js stack (it's my first dev job), but I don't necessarily like to confine myself to just those two technologies. I work with a small team, so everyone often ends up doing a little bit of everything. I work on things from implementing new features and fixing bugs, to working on developing a testing suite in Selenium, to working up mockups in Figma and presenting them to the business end, to making some recommendations about ways to move forward architecturally.
Prior to this, I did a bootcamp. Prior to that, I worked in insurance, developing some tools in C# to help automate my daily tasks. And prior to that, I got a bachelor's degree in music.
Let's talk!

#199Hi! I'm transitioning into UX/UI design from a diverse background which includes some design work but was primarily in arts and non-profit admin (8+ years nationally and internationally.) I just wrapped up a year long hands-on program at Springboard.
Not to toot my own horn or anything but I'm rather good at working with efficiency, integrity, and excellence. And if there's ever anything I don't know, my pro googling skills come in handy. "Imitate and then innovate!" - that's one of my mottos.
Friends say I'm a fun addition to anything, so that's a plus if you're looking for energy and creativity for your team!
I'm looking for a team where I can learn/grow continually both from projects and a good team dynamic.
Cheers! Melanie https://uxfol.io/mrneryland

#200Self-taught with 3 years python experience and entry-level knowledge of Django; developing personal projects in the form of desktop utilities and websites, as well as devices using microcontrollers. Looking for position allowing me to use my existing skill set and learn new ones. Background prior to programming includes 16+ years in civil engineering/construction coordination/land development, and real estate sales. Also created/designed layout for mobile CRM for real estate, and managed a team of engineers to develop it on Android.
