I'm targeting an established but smaller company (10-500 people) with min base comp 120k. I currently work - the startup I was working for got acquired, and the culture, nature and impact of the work aren't quite what I'm looking for. I'd prefer to work for a company whose mission I believe in, an environment with lots of possible paths forward ('greenfield' work), and an established engineering culture that emphasizes frequent written communication and a spirit of frequent collaboration and even occasional pairing.
