Polyglot developer, usually working on web frontends and large WordPress systems (though I'd like to move away from the latter if I get the opportunity). A huge Emacs fan, as you can probably tell by my GitHub, though I use Vim bindings in Emacs and Vim itself for working over SSH. Eager to jump in wherever I'm needed - I have widespread tech experience and I'm very fast at picking up new systems. Remote would be ideal, but I'm happy with an office position. Would strongly prefer not to relocate outside the greater Portland area, but I'll consider it for an exceptional offer. Feel free to send me an email at benaiah@mischenko.comRe: Ask HN: Who wants to be hired? (October 2016)

===============================
Currently, I work on the tools and infrastructure that enables users to learn new technologies in the browser.I’m well accustomed to taking responsibility for features and implementing them from the ground up. As someone who thrives when confronted with complex tasks, I continually seek innovation to succeed.
For me, coding has become more than work and is a craft I love investing time into. In my spare time, I build and maintain Javascript.com - an open source resource to keep developers up-to-date on JavaScript news. Recently, I joined the list of contributors for Code.org and can’t wait to submit my first PR!
In my spare time, I've been learning C/C++ in order to be more useful when it comes to infrastructure development.
