Ashby | YC 19 | REMOTE | Hiring Engineering Leaders | $200k–$275k Ashby is the all-in-one recruiting platform powering hiring at the world's most innovative companies. If you cmd+f "Ashby" you'll see that we're powering many of the job postings in this thread! We’re looking to scale our engineering leadership team with technical leaders who want to raise the impact of a high-performing organization. * Not Your Tradit…

>At Ashby, your compensation is market-rate indexed to your level of performance. FYI, "market rate" refers to the highest compensation that someone would be willing to offer a person with that profile. When you sell something, you sell it to the highest bidder. You don't sell it to the median buy offer. >We target your total compensation (salary + equity-to-be-vested) to be greater than the 75th percentile So, below…

The market rate is the expected compensation in a certain market, usually based on location, and it's a range rather than a single value. If it was the highest compensation, everyone except a single employer would pay below market rate. What you're referring to is "top of market".

LiveMap | Geospatial Engineers (Data & Routing) | Full-Time | Switzerland or Remote (CH, EU, UK)

Visa sponsorship is not provided.

LiveMap - https://livemap.ch/ - is a funded startup with a vision to build the next generation of mapping apps (think hyper-personalised Google Maps). How that looks is still being explored so we're building prototypes, getting them into customer hands and iterating quickly. We're looking to bring on a couple of people to help accelerate this development process.

As a data engineer you'll set up a data pipeline, work with product to identify relevant datasets, connect, persist and expose that data.

Working on the routing engine you'll extend off the shelf routing engines (Graphhopper) to take into account dynamic run-time preferences & attributes (think temporal).

Please find more information and application forms at the links:

Unitary Foundation | Member of Technical Staff, Fault Tolerant Quantum Compilation + Simulations | REMOTE (US) | Full-time

Unitary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research group building a quantum technology ecosystem that benefits the most people. We build open-source infrastructure for quantum computing — current projects include Mitiq, UCC, and Clifft — and run community programs like microgrants and unitaryHACK.

We're hiring an MTS to help define and build our open-source compilation and simulation stack: compilation, simulation, error mitigation, resource estimation, benchmarking, and early fault-tolerant workflows. You'll join a small technical team doing research through sponsored collaborations with national labs, universities, and industry partners. The role is about technical ownership — forming a technical point of view, proposing roadmaps, and building tools that become useful shared infrastructure. There's also room to experiment thoughtfully with AI-assisted research workflows.

We're looking for a track record of building software other people use (ideally open source), a strong background in quantum computing (fault tolerance, error correction, compilation, simulation), and strong Python; C++/Rust is a plus. A PhD is one possible background for this role, but not required.
