Looking for security engineer roles. For the past 5 years I have been building security tooling that internal teams can make use of. I work closely with other teams to help improve the security posture of their apps. I help write documentation and host department wide presentations to educate others about web app security and steps they can take to make apps more secure. I took on the responsibility of managing our H1 Bug Bounty Program which previously was failing SLA targets by 10+ months and managed to bring it down to days. I have helped mentor interns and junior developer and also been active in conducting pair programming interviews for future candidates. What you get from me is a go-getter, self-motivated individual. I am always looking to improve not only myself but also my work.

I’m looking for roles where I can apply my engineering skills to build impactful systems, while helping shape strong, collaborative teams and technical culture. I’ve led cross-functional teams of SWEs, AI researchers, and data scientists to develop and deploy complex ML systems - most recently, I led development of an RAG (LLM) search system used daily by thousands of RBC call center agents, saving millions annually. I’m looking to continue to grow in both engineering depth and team impact, while working with smart, curious people on meaningful problems.

If you are looking for someone to tinker around with your developer product and come up with innovative possibilities and use cases and communicate them, I would love to work with you. (Part time preferred)

I have been in the SaaS space for the last 12 years (B2B SaaS - 6 years). Though I am an engineer at heart, I have worked on building different departments at Tars(HelloTars) for the past (5 years, 11 months), building the engineering team, building the design team (2 years), leading partnership efforts (1 year), and also building the marketing team (1 year). Presently, I have been tinkering around with novel approaches in Reasoning AI (built on top of the LLM layer) and have a different take on the approach than how most folks are building it.

I would love to share learnings and understand your priority problems even if you are not interested in immediate hiring.
