I'm an AWS certified software engineer with extensive experience crafting and deploying software features and upgrades for large-scale, client-facing web applications in production environments. My focus is to efficiently deliver software solutions within agile, scrum based or cross-functional teams. I'm committed to fostering best practices, optimizing existing workflows, and bringing innovation by way of successful software implementations.

I personally built an open-source website deployment and administration platform (https://fishpulse.com), that includes CMS / site editing tools, CRM / lead management tools, integrated email, and site analytics, to offer a consolidated website management experience.

Currently open to new opportunities.

I'm a grad student at the University of Pennsylvania, and my concentration has been on distributed systems. I have experience working full-stack, with prior experience with Java, Ruby on Rails, Py, and Rust. For the frontend I've worked with Angular and React. Interested in SDE roles, especially in large-scale distributed environments or where efficiency is of importance.

Sigh . I guess I'll post again... Location: Rochester, NY Remote: Yes. Willing to Relocate: Unless you are somewhere global and fantastical (e.g., Paris), no. Technologies: Elixir/Phoenix, Python/Django/Flask/FastAPI, (some) Ruby/RoR Sites: https://schizophrenic.io , https://unite-the.church , https://github.com/danieljaouen Email: See bio.

I'm with zamadatix and I'm also posting because I hear some pain.

Putting yourself out for hire is bloody hard and we all have to do it. I ditched my CV (Brit) about 24 years ago and am the MD of a small IT company but I still have to sell myself as well as my little company.

HN's "Who wants to be hired" threads are a pretty decent opportunity. You get eyes on your post from everywhere without it being that MS Linked In wankery. There are no algorithms here, your post goes up or down on old school forum voting. Also, the forum admin patrolling in these parts is rather more efficient than some. I gather that LI is rather important in the US (it isn't here, thankfully) so make the most of HN.

So, if you want to be hired, get that CV (resume) in tip top condition and make the best use of these threads.

I'm afraid I can't offer anything as exotic as Paris. My firm is in the south west of England, which is generally considered quite rural, except where it isn't.

I wish you all the best but please be your best you when presenting yourself in public (I think that makes sense!)

I'm a student at Northeastern University majoring in CS and Linguistics. I've built large-scale, efficient software for my quantum photonics lab, for satellites, and for cloud computing startups. I'm looking for internships or co-ops in systems engineering, ML, and backend engineering.

My most recent project: I built https://github.com/tetraslam/SHFLA and won the MIT Media Lab hackathon + Harvard C House hackathon. It hit the front page of HN, and got me demo requests from Stephen Wolfram, Joscha Bach, and Suno AI.

Tech Manager/Lead, Full stack web developer

I specialise in iteratively creating user-focused web applications. If you have users that know what they want when they see it, I'm excellent at having ongoing conversations with these users, synthesising those opinions and continuously creating satisfying software, documentation and training materials (by myself, or leading a team).

I have over ten years experience prototyping, developing and maintaining web applications and 5 years working as a tech lead or manager. With 15 years of teaching experience outside of my day job, I'm also very good at mentoring and growing other software developers.
