I have ~3 years as a Software Engineer, M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science. I recently took time away from professional software to do woodworking and traveling. I still have all those good swe skills and have still been making things for myself in the meantime.

I think I'm valuable for my diversity of experience and perspective. I have a creative mind and flexibility and adaptability. I communicate well and document code well.

I'm a largely self-taught technology enthusiast with an education in finance. I have a few years of considerable growth as a Data Specialist, working in DevOps, Data Engineering, & DBA capacities on several concurrent multi-year data projects in a Hybrid-Cloud platform/environment. I maintain a portfolio of personal projects for fun & curiosity. I would very much enjoy the opportunity to work with industry standard cloud tools.

I'm a senior software engineer with over 10 years of experience. I've worked with startups, big companies, and co-founded and exited two companies. My main focus is on backend development with Python Django but over the years I've touched many different technologies (React, Objective-C, C#, C++, Go, WebRTC, etc.).

I love to solve hard problems in simple ways and to get from zero to one as swiftly as possible while not sacrificing quality. To achieve this I always try to deeply understand the business perspective of the product and identify the most important areas to focus on. A combination of management and deep technical skills is what I feel is my biggest strength.

Actively searching to join a great team.

I’ve helped companies to scale their applications from millions of users to an architecture that can scale x10 that. Twice. With different tech stacks. 5-star Codementor. Curiosity driven. Product-oriented. Team player. Fast self-learner.

I'm a full stack software engineer with years of experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Ruby. I'm also proficient in Go. I recently built SmoothSail, a self hosted feature flag management tool for decoupling deployment from release. I'm open to any positions that make use of my skillset but I'm also very comfortable learning new technologies.
