Hello, I am currently looking for a full-stack or back-end position, I can come on site or work remotely. If you are working on any interesting modern stack feel free to reach out. Most of my experience is at smaller-sized companies. I also have a business credential (London School of Economics), which has helped me work very well in cross-functional teams, and have some startup experience. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi I'm David - I love building and scaling products end-to-end for organizations of all sizes - startups, large enterprises, both public and private sector. Run a software/DevOps consultancy, actively building as well as maintaining service offerings for a number of customers. Passionate about building and iterating quickly while incorporating best practices for tooling, software quality, devops, and infosec. Actively involved in open source. Not one for a typical clock-in/clock-out 9-5, more of an all-in mindset and drive - always optimizing for growth. Open to FTE as well.

Technologies: Rust, Python, JS, C# and more. Backend, FrontEnd and application development. Algorithms speciality
  Résumé/CV: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tomleys/
Email: tom at gridspy dot com
Experienced software engineer: from firmware, algorithms and optimization to full stack web development including sales and marketing I've done it all. I love the hard problems that lie at the heart of complex systems.

Running my own business has given me a unique perspective as a developer which I can draw on while problem solving day to day. I’m great at iterating on products with clients until they meet both their stated and unstated desires.

I have a real algorithms bent so if you want something fancy or complex I can code it up for you. I'm happy to tear code up and refactor, or can track down that tricky bug and crush it. Regularly called on to pick the right technology, I make critical and pragmatic decisions, rapidly becoming productive with whatever is necessary to get the job done

I am a software engineer, still a little new into the field. Bottom line, I like building cool shit. I currently work in the Point of Sale world where I have build an application for a mobile solution in .NET Maui utilizing gRPC as a communication means for a device to talk with a client's server. I have also been the main developer taking care of payment processing through World Pay via a payment gateway. Including certifying on new integrations with World Pay. I currently write C# for a paycheck and Rust primarily in my free time and for open source. I enjoy solving problems. As an example, I didn't like the Roku app on iOS or any of the alternatives, so in a day or two, I learned enough Swift and Core Data to build my own for the Apple Watch platform.
