Hi HN- my name is Caleb and I've been trying to make a career change into being a software developer/ programmer. I started teaching myself through online bootcamps and good-ol Googling last October. Since then, I've built a few different apps including web scrapers, utility scripts and notification tools while constantly trying to learn other technologies to keep broadening my knowledge.
My background is mostly in government and customer-service oriented work where I've had a lot of time to develop my soft skills, so I believe I'd be a unique asset with many teams or companies who need someone both technical and people minded.

About me: I was a software developer for ~5 years, then I went to law school. Just graduated from there, working in biglaw, and trying to become a dev again.
My last dev job saw me build accounting software from scratch and interface with the CEO on a weekly basis to turn his business desires into manageable, spec'd engineering tickets, and my previous one saw me rearchitect our back-end API to make it RESTful and also redo our front-end in React.

I'm currently the principal engineer at a small, fast-paced startup in Tokyo, where I've been leading a small team in developing a product to provide temperature measuring and alerting services to over 2,000 clients across the country in the food service, hospitality, and medical industries. I work with a Python/Django/PostgreSQL stack on ec2, but I'm also flexible and very willing to learn.

Hey HN, We’re an EU based upcoming web. Currently we have four developers and looking for a place to work:

Hi I'm Justin. I love both product and business side of start-ups.
