I have been doing Golang, TypeScript and Python professionally, mostly targeting Backend development. I have led JavaScript to Typescript migration of frontend and took complete responsibility to add multiple enterprise backend modules with test driven approach. Furthermore, I tend to be a T-shaped person with the core in full-stack/backend and consistently learning leadership skills. I understand database internals and actively contribute to Redis ecosystem. Properly skilled with distributed technologies and cloud native patterns. Currently working for a fintech company. I have multiple independent contractor experience spanning from desktop & web application development to reverse engineering mobile applications.

NOTE: I'm available only for contract/part-time work.

I am a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas majoring in computer science (and dabbling in quantum physics).

I'm looking for Summer 2022 internships/part-time work related to cutting edge cryptography research and security (doesn't have to be related to cryptocurrencies). Work related to Fully Homomorphic Encryption and Zero Knowledge Proofs is ideal.

I'm currently taking a graduate course in cryptography, am working through the Cryptopals Crypto Challenges (https://github.com/TheEnthralled/cryptopals), and am currently one of less than 100 students nationwide to complete task 1-7 of the 2021 NSA Codebreaker Challenge (https://nsa-codebreaker.org/home).

If you would like me to do some "pre-emptive onboarding" by reading up on material, sharpening skills, etc., before Summer 2022, I'm sure I'm able to do so.

Thank you!

Technologies I like (but a bit rusty): C++, C#, Java

Remote: yes

Willing to relocate: possible for USA and Switzerland

Areas curious about: blockchain, education, social apps and games.

I like to use code to solve societal problems and increase impact, or to solve business problems and increase profit. For example, for a previous employer I increased their revenue significantly by coming up with the idea and showcasing that it is possible to serve tasteful ads to people using adblockers (tasteful: the biggest premium brands of my country creating elaborate designs for the holidays). Societal impact has mostly been teaching code.

While I can be a coding machine cranking out features, it is less suited to my skills since my value is best added when I think along with business and marketing teams on a strategic level and then implement the proposed solution.

Solid mathematical and problem solving skills (Phd. thesis in Topological Graph Theory) and a good amount of experience developing academic/scientific software. Looking either for software development or data scientist roles. Please mention Hacker News when contacting me. I'm fine with Junior positions.
