I don’t feel like I have any prospects for the future. I study a lot; I’ve read dozens of technical books, and I’ve learnt a great deal, but I depend on visa sponsorship. At the company where I work, I don’t feel valued. Internal politics are very strong, and I don’t like what I do. Even less do I feel stimulated or challenged.

I have attempted suicide once before. I wake up every day trying to improve, trying to find the strength to study even more, hoping that, somehow, I might manage to find something better. But it has been difficult.

In the news, you see plenty of people saying that people like me are ruining the country, even though I pay more tax, pay a surcharge to be able to use the NHS, and am not entitled to a billion other things.

Anyway, that’s life.

The combination of outsourcing to India and AI and how it's destroying western job markets to squeeze out more profits to a few on top.

Those people in India want to eat too.

Yea, and there's over a billion of them. Why do they need to destory a country of ~10 million people for the indian population to "eat"?
