SEEKING WORK | Central Europe | Remote web development team Ruby On Rails, React

Hi, my name is Vedran, and I represent a small high-grade web consultancy team with extensive experience in architecting, building, and managing large custom-made applications.

Finding the right people to shape your idea can be daunting. Hiring tech talent is one of the biggest challenges companies, and entrepreneurs face today. And it’s no wonder. The market is full of happy-go-lucky development shops that instil confidence and promise you the moon. Before signing the contract, everything seems great…and then it begins.

They assign you to their junior team. Communication is subpar. Sometimes they go off the grid for days and leave you all alone, stumbling in the dark. They move the goalposts and refuse to own up to their mistakes. When you realize that nothing is what it seems, you’ve already wasted months and blown most of your budget.

The truth is that most software development projects fail. Over the past few years, my focus on helping startups has pushed me to continuously uplevel my expertise and put that knowledge into practice.

I wanted to take it up a notch.

Super excited to announce that I have partnered with Augmeta to unlock my playbook-led engagement, essentially opening up my calendar to advise and consult individuals or teams.

Here’s my playbook.

https://augmetahq.com/playbook/vedran-managing-outsourced-so...

This is the first time I took a stab at consolidating all my learnings, tools, recommendations, code/templates, and tactics in a singular and actionable artifact. It’s complete, all-inclusive, and gets the job done.

Moving forward, I will be able to assist companies, teams, and individuals, and I will appreciate the support to get the word out to all who could benefit from this. Really excited about the potential to pay it forward and scale my impact via these engagements!

SEEKING WORK | Zurich, Switzerland | Remote | Part-time or Full-time

I am a passionate software engineer that started his career working in the financial industry. Soon after, I joined R&D teams of different start-ups which gave me the opportunity to work closely with hardware and manage IT infrastructure.

Currently, I am developing cloud-based software solutions for various clients and projects with modern Java and Vue.js using agile project methodologies. I enjoy working as a full-stack developer and to constantly challenge myself.

I have a 12 years of experience (4 year apprenticeship in software engineering + 8 years industry experience), a BSc in Computer Science and a broad background in various technologies, which include Vue.js, React, .NET and Java.

I just recently joined the company KEON as a co-owner and I'm looking now for clients to work with (frontend or full-stack).

Don't hesitate to reach out to me, either for a contract, a potential collaboration or just a chat.

"I don't know what you want. If you are looking for buzzwords, I can tell you I don't have any. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for your competitors. If you hire me now, that will be the end of it - I will not look for you, I will not pursue you... but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you... and I will send you my CV." -- a humble freelancer
