Lokad.com | Full stack, Backend, Frontend, Compiler | REMOTE or ONSITE | Paris, France | Full-time | https://www.lokad.com

Lokad is a bootstrapped profitable software company - 50 employees and growing fast - that specializes on predictive supply chain optimization. We are based in France, but the majority of our clients are outside France.

Supply chains remain wasteful and poorly resilient to tail risks (as demonstrated by present day situation). We’re talking about roughly 15% of the worldwide economy: supply chains are vast, and double-digit improvements remain possible. We want to put supply chains on AI autopilot, and deliver above-human performance while doing so.

Technologies used: C#, F#, Typescript, .NET Core, Linux

PC Doodle | Computer Repair Novice | Minneapolis B&M Computer Repair Shop | PART TIME | pcdoodle.com

We are a small B&M operation that fixes computers but also dabbles in IoT products and PCB designs (Fun stuff, most recent is a thruster system for inflatable rafts w/e-ink display control interface).

We have a laser cutter, Pick and Place machine, CNC and many other nerd toys that can also be used for personal projects when the shop is slow. We're looking for someone to pick up some slack here and there a few days a week checking in customers answering the phone. About as laid back as you can get. Low stress environment.

Saildrone | Multiple Roles | Onsite/Remote (US Only) | SF Bay Area (Alameda) | Full-Time | https://www.saildrone.com/

Saildrone is the world's leading collector of ocean related in situ data via uncrewed vehicle, above and below the sea surface. We work with governments, civic agencies, foundations, universities, and private companies around the globe to drive better information about our oceans and seas - be it sailing drones into the eye of hurricanes to obtain new scientific storm data, mapping out the ocean floor, collecting new CO2 data in hard-to-reach areas, counting biomass to establish fishing quotas, or detecting and stopping illegal fishing and drug trafficking.

Maybe you saw that we hucked a drone into a category 4 hurricane[1] last fall. Or maybe that we recently raised a $100M series C[2]. Or maybe you didn't see any of that, but you're still intrigued by the idea of autonomous, long endurance sailboats that help us better understand our planet.

Whatever the case, we're hiring for a breadth of different positions across our organization. In software, we're hiring for an Engineering Manager along with Machine Learning, DevOps/SRE, Hardware Test, Platform, and Vehicle engineers. Stacks vary from team to team, but we're looking primarily for folks with backgrounds in C++, Python, and/or JavaScript (Node, TypeScript, React). We're remote-friendly for certain positions, though require folks to be onsite for others.

In addition to software engineers, we're also hiring for a bunch of other positions across the company in production/manufacturing, hardware engineering, and more!

You can see a list of open positions on our career page: https://www.saildrone.com/careers

Please apply through our career page; be sure to select "Other" and specify this HN post when asked how you heard about us!

Our chatbot "Bebot" currently services over 11M users a year, which is over 30% of the entire market in Japan.

Stack: React.js, Ruby (Rails, Sinatra), Node.js, Python (Flask, NLP), AWS

We're looking for an experienced full stack developer. You don't need to know the exact stack we're using if you're willing to learn.
