5 years of experience in software development.

Currently working on a codebase overhaul / migration to AWS of a suite of ~60 .NET applications. Previously, and for the longest, worked in a sports betting auction startup, starting from the very beginning as the second engineer on the team, up to product launch and beyond.

I did a bit of everything, mostly backend development and AWS, some FE but no fancy frameworks, all the way to leading a small team of 4 DevOps and cloud engineers, which set up CI, infrastructure and launched a product. Also had an episode of game development sprinkled in. I also studied basics of machine learning.

Privately enjoying Rust, I'd love to use it on the job - almost had a chance of that on the last recruitment round, but it didn't pan out :( I also recently used it for my thesis.

Looking primarily for an interesting challenge, which isn't pure infrastructure plumbing. If you're looking for a generalist, I would likely fit in. Happy to try a new tech stack, beyond what's listed here.

Check out my CV and let me know if I'm a good fit. Thanks!

Hi, HN. I go by anyfactor and I have been freelancing as a automation, data and python developer for more than 4 years now. But I think it is time for me to take the next step.

I have a passion of making sense from data. That is why I studied accounting in the first place, but my love for dealing with messy data and solving problems made me switch to doing programming.

I really love working with Python and Pandas and SQL and Tableau is something I am loving equally. And after a very long time it clicked that I enjoy the duties of the traditional roles of data analyst, data scientist, data engineering, backend development. Even if I am not fully equipped, I am goshdarn determined to scale up and adapt. I am capable of fulfilling the roles of jr. data analyst or that programming guy which every data science team needs.

I have been offered H1b visas before, but I am looking for someone to come along where I can showcase my value first by working with them remotely then relocate when I am seen as indispensable part of the team.

Even if you are not hiring for a full time remote role, I am always available for you as a freelance developer.

I'm an all-round generalist backend engineer with over 4 years of experience and have spent the majority of my career working in fast-paced startup environments. At my current company, I've played a critical role in the design of among many things, the architecture of our inventory, payment processing and billing system. Before joining them, I helped build data aggregation tools and a monitoring dashboard for a UK based Non-Profit that focuses on early childhood development. More in my resume.
