AWS Developer Tools | US/Canada Virtual | Senior Engineer/Developer | Full-Time | https://aws.amazon.com/products/developer-tools/

[Note on Location: The team is mostly in Seattle but is becoming more distributed with COVID19, I doubt it will ever go back so we're willing to do long term remote.]

AWS Dev Tools builds the tools that we all use for software development and CI/CD ... at least some of them :-). I'm leading a team of impassioned developers trying to re-invent how we create, release, and iterate on software quickly and safely. We are specifically focused on integrations with other tools like Jira, GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket, etc...

We're looking for a senior/lead engineer to help build this out! If you have an interest in how developers work with different languages (Python, Go, Java, Node, etc...), different platforms (Linux, iOS/Android, MacOS, Web Apps), different workflow tools (JIRA, Circle CI, Pivotal Tracker, etc...), and different organizations (startups, enterprises, governments, universities), I'd like to hear from you.

I come from a startup background and the rest of the team is made of people with varied skills - you will learn ALOT here.

7+ years of professional experience are required for this role.

Email me (Adam) and cc Leah a resume or profile if you'd like to find out more about what we're doing and are interested in joining: adnelso @at amazon.com and leahfitz @at amazon.com

Ambassador Labs (formerly Datawire) | Software Engineers (mid-level to senior) | REMOTE | FULL-TIME

Ambassador Labs is solving interesting problems for cloud native developers in the Kubernetes space. We are looking to hire engineers that care as much about empowering developers as we do and have embraced the cloud native phenomenon that is taking over the world.

You will be working on products aimed at drastically improving the way cloud native developers work.

This is an opportunity to join a growing team of smart and empathetic software engineers. The role is focused primarily on product development of new products and services - this means you will be doing work in Golang. Our products comprise multiple services and those services are written in various languages (the best language for that particular task). If you are motivated by figuring out ways for developers (your people!) to own their work through the power of microservices and Kubernetes, you’ve come to the right place.

If you’re interested, contact directly: colleendunlap@datawire.io.

===========

We're fighting climate change by building better apps for farmers and the agricultural economy. Our farmers are able to produce better quality crops with fewer resources and less land. if you haven't watched the new Netflix documentary Kiss the Ground you should check it out because it goes over regenerative agriculture really well and describes loosely the kinds of things we try to promote through our software.

If you want a mission you can tell your grandchildren about to literally save the world from climate change then this is your calling.

Our stack is JavaScript (React, Apollo, Node) and Python (Flask).

We're a Unicorn company:

https://www.builtinboston.com/2017/09/26/agtech-startup-indi...

We work on the most under-hyped sector in startups:

https://stateofstartups2019.firstround.com/

CNBC named us the Most Disruptive Company in the world, beating out Flexport, Airbnb, and other companies you know. We're in the top 5 2 years in a row:

And our big climate goal is to use regenerative agriculture to sequester 1 TRILLION tons of carbon from the atmosphere:
