Location: San Francisco Bay Area Open to Remote: Yes Willing to Relocate: No Technologies: Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AR/VR, Video Streaming, Image/Video Processing, Codec, Mobile Apps, Signal Processing, Control, Communications, Ph.D. in ECE I have over 8 years of experience working on AR/VR related technologies. My work primarily involves developing SDKs that bridge AR/VR algorithms and apps, as well as implementing computer vision algorithms. My algorithmic approach heavily relies on deep learning networks. Therefore, my computer vision tasks include data collection, model design, training, and deployment on mobile platforms. Prior to my work in AR/VR, I specialized in video codecs and video streaming. I have contributed to Veetle’s online video streaming platforms and projects used in PlayStation consoles. I have worked for Oppo, uSense, Magic Leap, Veetle, Intersil, Magnum Semiconductor, and Sony. Operating Systems: I am most comfortable working with Android, but I also have experience with iOS. Languages: I am proficient in C/C++, Python, Java, and SIMDs like NEON. I am comfortable both leading an R&D team and working as an individual contributor. I strongly believe that the major challenges of AR/VR will soon be overcome, making it the next big thing.

Technologies: TypeScript, Python, Derw, Elm, Haskell, Go. My full range of languages is quite a bit longer - but the jewel in my crown is Derw, a language I created myself having worked with Elm for a long time. I enjoy most languages to some extent, but prefer typed functional languages where possible. The only language I won't work with is Java.
