I've had some great luck finding talent on Hacker News in the past so lets give this a shot for myself for the first time.

For the past 8 years, I've led SKULabs, a WMS/ERP solution for fast-growing ecommerce brands, growing from Senior Developer to Head of Product and driving 10x revenue growth. My contributions span product roadmapping, implementing Amazon Well-Architected Framework, optimizing backend Node.js service durability, designing intuitive front-end experiences, managing support teams, providing enterprise WMS consulting for complex implementations, leading sales efforts, and overseeing operational strategy on a P/L basis.

It is extraordinarily rare that I'm on the market and this is my first public post while I'm in the process with several companies in my network.

I'm open to any of the following:

A. Start something new with a small team focusing heavy on the development side.

B. Help a small, early-stage team scale their product and drive growth through a blend of development, management, product strategy, and operations.

C. Join a larger software startup in a product leadership role.

Key Expertise:

MongoDB (>512GB clusters w/ 1ms doc retrieval and reads), Redis/ElastiCache

React, Next.js, Node.js, Bootstrap, MUI

Extensive AWS EC2 experience (ALB/ASG/ECS/VPC) at scale

GitHub Projects, Actions, Workflows

Recruiting and HR

Sales engineering and KPI measurement

Technical compliance with major platforms (Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, TikTok, etc.)

Customer feedback analysis, product roadmapping, and ticket refinement

CI/CD, automated testing, and technical documentation

Knowledge management and troubleshooting complex systems

Business process consulting

Experienced data platform engineer, interested in roles that span across data and infrastructure but a wildcard with a complex problem would also get my attention. I work best on small multidisciplinary teams with a strong sense of ownership
