PostHog | Remote (US/Europe timezones) | Senior Backend Engineer, SRE & more! https://posthog.com/ PostHog is open-source product analytics. Graduated YC W20, we were the most popular B2B software HN launch since 2012. Our GitHub repo [0] has 9k stars and a growing and active community. We've raised significant funding, default alive, and are growing quickly. We're 30+ people. Our stack is Django/React/Redux (Kea -- main contributor works at PostHog too!).

Our mission is to build tools that will increase the number of successful products that exist in the world.

We are looking for Backend Engineers & SREs to take care of scaling to 1 Trillion+ events, both for our cloud offering and larger customers who are self hosting. If you are interested in processing data reliably at scale and love databases like ClickHouse, this is your role!

We have a culture of written async communication (see our handbook [1]), lots of individual responsibility and an opportunity to make a huge impact. Being fully remote means we're able to create a team that is truly diverse. We're based all over the world, and the team includes former YC founders, CTOs turned developers and recent grads.

Latacora | CorpSec and AppSec Engineers | Remote | Full-time

Why do security at a startup when you can do security at all the startups?

Latacora builds information security practices from scratch. We help clients solve the “minimal viable security team” problem. Clients of all sizes need a wide array of specific technical competencies, advisory work, and pragmatic project/program management. That’s unreasonable to expect from any single hire, so that’s where we come in.

Latacora’s (current or emeritus) clients include health care, fintech, literal banks, medical devices, transportation, AI, quantum computing, and even sports analytics. We’ve started companies as small as three people but have also helped clients go public while being a client. Our sweet spot for a new client is between seed and B, and our engagements tend to last several years.

Some clients who have disclosed their relationship with us (either via us or our sibling venture fund) include Vercel, Tailscale, Teleport, Stytch, WorkOS… We’ve got a bunch of other awesome clients that we prefer not to plaster over the Internet :-)

We’re always hiring for the right folks, but right now, we’re particularly interested in corpsec and appsec engineers, especially in the mid-to-senior range. Detailed JDs below, but in summary:

AppSec (application security) engineers break software and help clients design better alternatives.

CorpSec (corporate security) engineers focus on our clients’ people: they deal with strong authentication, access control, mobile device management, vendor risk management, et cetera.

Detailed JDs linked below:

AppSec Engineer: https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQkesDV9FjsJu_gj...

Senior AppSec Engineer: https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vR6VlJe2tOinEFI1...

Reddit is making strategic investments in the platform including video, advertising, consumer products, and expanding into international markets.

Some of the positions to highlight:

Do you currently not hold a more senior position? Don't get discouraged. Maybe you qualify for one anyway.
