Taught myself C when I was 13. Spent all of high school ignoring my classes to hack on a Multi-User Dungeon written in C++. Built a sizable world, a small community, and managed a team of builders who contributed to the world using an in-game world editor I designed.

Graduated from Skidmore College with a double major in Physics and Computer Science. Decided I wasn't really cut out for physics research or physical engineering, but that I loved code. Have been coding professionally since. Worked for GE, Ideacode, EllisLab (ExpressionEngine), and Ceros.

Took a sabbatical from code when I realized I was dangerously close to burn out and spent the time volunteering for local NGOs and co-chairing a municipal task force on Government Innovation for the City of Bloomington, IN.

Now feeling refreshed and more excited about code than at any time since I was in high school, looking to join a start up building something neat.
